How farmers and processors are getting listed on our directory

Getting found by local consumers on the internet is hard, getting listed in our state by state producer directory is easy!

Create your own animal share directory listing

The farmers2freezers.com directory is designed to complement your current online presence, promote more engagement with your social media channels, and enhancing your organic search. Our state listings display short producer snippets in rotating random order for fast searching and filtering by species, practices and locations to help consumers find compatible local producers. If you do not have an online presence, our directory can be an easy starting point.

Our directory is new, so we have created a few sample listings to show how state listings will be displayed, filtered and linked to the full listing pages.

Why Producers are getting listed

The advantages for farmers and local processors joining our directory

  • Higher Profit Margins: Selling directly eliminates middlemen like wholesalers or retailers, allowing farmers to retain 20-50% more revenue per sale by setting their own prices.
  • Control Over Branding and Pricing: Farmers can market their unique practices (e.g., grass-fed, organic, or regenerative farming) and set prices that reflect their quality, enhancing their brand identity.
  • Direct Customer Relationships: Engaging directly with consumers builds trust, loyalty, and repeat business, fostering long-term connections that lead to consistent sales.
  • Reduced Dependency on Industrial Systems: Bypassing large supply chains gives farmers independence from fluctuating wholesale prices and corporate contracts, offering greater financial stability.
  • Feedback and Market Insights: Direct interactions provide valuable customer feedback on preferences, enabling farmers to adjust offerings, improve products, or introduce new products or ideas.
  • Support for Sustainable Practices: Selling locally aligns with eco-conscious consumer demand, allowing farmers to promote environmentally friendly methods like pasture-raised or low-impact farming.
  • Community Engagement: Direct sales strengthen ties to the local community, creating opportunities for farm visits, events, or educational outreach, which enhance visibility and goodwill.
  • Lower Marketing Costs: An effective directory platform reduces the need for expensive on-line and off-line advertising, as farmers can reach targeted consumers seeking local, high-quality meat on a single platform.
  • 24/7/365 Promotion: Farmers2Freezers is available all year long for consumers to find your business. Our standard plan is available for just a couple of dollars per month and does not take a percent of any sales. Farmers and processors have control of the content for their profile.
  • Diversified Revenue Streams: Direct sales open opportunities for value-added products (e.g., jerky, sausages) or subscription models, creating additional income sources beyond traditional livestock sales.
